EOY Coach Interviews
As mentioned in the final TA call, the VIQI team is hoping to meet with each of you for 1-on-1, 1 hour interviews after intervention wraps up to learn more about your experience on the project. On this excel sheet (EOY Coach Interview- Sign Up Sheet.xlsx), please enter your name in the first column next to your preferred date so we can begin scheduling & coordinating with our interviewers. We will try to accommodate your first choices but, please also add your name to other dates/options in the subsequent columns to the right (Interviewee #2, #3, etc.) as backup choices.
We will be in contact with you all about setting up these meetings in the coming weeks. As always, thank you all so much for your hard work & if you have absolutely any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me or anyone on the Installation team!!
Coach Survey Answers
Hi Coaches! Happy Monday and I hope you all had a good weekend! A few of you have asked to see the answers to the Coach Survey you took this year. I am attaching them here for you! Just an FYI- this was not a "test" for you all but rather an understanding if the project and experience in the project led to any differences in coach understanding and comprehension of these questions. So we are looking more at growth than "correct answers". Anyway, its attached below!

Hi Coaches! I have pulled together some Instructions for how to navigate PowerBI on an iPad (especially if you are wanting to select a subset of bars in the graphs). The easiest way to do so is to download the PowerBI app and access the reports using the app, but you can also access it through the browser/Teams if that is working for you. The instructions for using PowerBI on an iPad/in the app is linked above but can also be found by going to Files under General -> Coach Binder.
We have also added links to the second PowerBI report on the CC Coach Channel and C4L Coach Channel. The report is labeled "VIQI Coach Log - Report 2;" please see snippet below from the C4L channel for reference. Thanks!
Should coaches submit a log for the "third session" (training review)?
No - because this session is flexible and outside of the regular coaching model, you do NOT need to log it.
When to select "coach-teacher meeting/observation is cancelled"
Coaches should only select “observation/coach-teacher mtg is cancelled” if there is NO chance they’ll reschedule within the same week. Once you submit, you cannot go back and change it. For example – if a coach has a scheduled observation on Monday and the teacher can’t make it, the coach should try to reschedule for that same week. If the rescheduled session happens Thursday, the coach would fill out the log as usual. If the reschedule cannot happen until the following Monday, then the coach should select “observation cancelled” and then the reason it was cancelled (and then would fill out the log the next week). But, the coach should be absolutely sure it is not going to happen that week because once they hit submit, they can’t go back to change their response.
Please note that you have to select "observation is cancelled" and "coach-teacher meeting is cancelled" separately, in order for your log to show as complete. When it is not a scheduled coaching week, you only have to check one box (and both components will be marked).
For log item section E 1(c) "I provided feedback to teachers in-person after observing the classroom" does "in-person" mean physically in person or in the moment?
This means in the moment during your debrief.
For most questions, your first line of defense will be your Master Coach for your respective curriculum. The Master Coach will then triage you if there are questions that they cannot answer or might need more supports in. But for your reference, below are the members of the team that manage the various arms of the project.
